>>June 2010 - Samsung and Texecom win again at the 2010 PSI Premier Awards

Congratulations to our award winning manufacturers Samsung and Texecom, who recently won awards at the 2010 PSI Premier Awards.

Samsung were presented with the "2010 CCTV Manufacturer of the Year" award, making Samsung winners of this category for two years running.

Texecom were awarded the "2010 Intruder Alarm Manufacturer of the Year" award and also the "2010 Intruder Alarm Product of the Year" for their Premier range of panels. Texecom also won both of these categories in 2009.

The PSI Premier Awards are conducted each year by UK based PSI - Professional Security Installer Magazine, and award winners are voted for by security installers and distributors to recognise excellence in product quality, service and support and product innovation.

>>May 2010 - FSH MEM lock wins on Episode 16 (19th May) on "The New Inventors" show

Congratulations to FSH who presented their revolutionary new MEM lock on the New Inventors show and were judged the best invention on the night by the show's panel.

As Trevor Mackle of FSH explained on the show, the FSH MEM lock is the first lock in the world that combines both electromagnetic and mechanical components. As a result, the MEM lock is 75% smaller and just 10% of the weight of a traditional electromagnetic lock. The MEM lock also has 20% stronger holding power than a traditional lock and consumes just half the power, a considerable improvement in energy efficiency.

FSH MEM locks achieve their performance through a design which uses a rounded tongue built into the armature and a circular latch built into the magnet. When the magnet and the armature are brought together, the tongue and latch form an additional mechanical seal that supports the holding force of the magnet without comprimising its fail safety rating.

It is with great honor that we pay tribute to our late friend Jason (The Gov) Mackman.

Thank you Gov'nor for being our special friend. Your dedication and loyalty to your friends and workmates at Commercial Security Solutions was typical of who you are. We will miss you; however the memories of fun, laughter and mateship live on with us all.

>> October 09 - FSH collects "Highly Commended" award in the 2009 Engineering Excellence Awards
Congratulations to another of our award winning manufacturers, FSH Fire & Security Hardware. The highly regarded and presitigious Engineering Excellence Awards took place in Sydney's Westin Hotel on Friday the 18th of September and all entrants went through a tough selection process to work their way to the finals and the impressive awards ceremony. The participating companies and institutions had to prove the engineering challenge they faced with their projects, evidence of originiality or ingenuity and also evidence of a rigourous and professional approach.

FSH submitted their patented "MEM - Revolutionary Locking Device" and it was awarded the "Highly Commended" award in the category of Small Business Ventures. This category intended to recognize excellent engineering, specifically undertaken in small organizations with less than $20m turnover and fewer than 100 employees.

Samsung Techwin was voted CCTV manufacturer of the year for 2009, thanks to their new range of high performance cameras that have been released throughout the past year. These cameras all incorporate Samsung Techwin's latest and unique core technologies including the SVIV and WIV 4th generation DSP chip sets and SSNRII (Samsung Super Noise Reduction), resulting in outstanding performance throughout their entire CCTV range.

Texecom was voted Intruder Alarm manufacturer of the year for 2009, as well as being awarded the 2009 Intruder Alarm product of the year for their Prestige series AMQD Plus anti-masking detector. Texecom is no stranger to receiving PSI Premier awards and this year's double is a
fitting follow up to their 2008 Intruder Alarm product of the year award for their Premier Series alarm panels.

We here at Net are great believers in communication - without a doubt, the most powerful tool available to our businesses. We have recently installed a new "Nortel Networks" communications system that will provide us with greatly improved internal communications, along with a considerably better system to communicate with our customers and business partners.

The new system is bedding in and we ask that you advise us of any difficulties that you may be experiencing, allowing us to ultimately better the system and improve our services to you.

>> June 09 - New Customer Technical Service Centre
In addition to our current repairs workshop, a new and fully equipped Service area has recently been constructed, giving further flexibility to our dedicated Service Staff. The 'Customer Technical Service Centre' will be used for thorough product testing and evaluation and hands-on customer technical support.

Our downstairs repairs workshop remains to ensure the quick processing of incoming and outgoing repairs.
